The short version: we count things like visits and games played, so we know how the site is doing. We don't know who you are, and we don't know where you are.
No. The site never asks for your location and never tries to figure it out. The weather at the top is Rochester's weather, the same for everyone.
The faces in Who's here are random too. They just mean someone has the page open.
Your games and streaks are saved on your own phone or computer. That's how your streak remembers you without an account.
We also keep simple counts, like how many people visited today and how many finished each game. None of it has your name, email, or location.
If you send us something, like a guest book note or a message, we keep that. Guest book notes are public.
We use AI to help build the site and write puzzles. It only ever sees the overall counts, never anything about you.
No ads, no ad trackers, and we don't sell anything about you, to anyone. Questions? Write to us. A real person reads every one.
